    Description

    Here is a pair of very scarce mulberry posset or punch cups in the popular
    TEMPLE
    pattern. They are not marked but would have been made by
    Podmore Walker & Co
    . in about
    1849
    . They are about 3 1/8" tall and 3" diameter and are on a pedestal base.
    One cup is in near perfect condition having a miniscule rim nick, a short, non-threatening hairline and a slight rough spot on the rim. The second cup has a foot chip, a rim chip and a long crack. The elegant handle is perfect on both cups.
    This type of cup is so hard to find and you would be pleased to add them to your mulberry collection.
